A Guy, a Computer, and Entirely Too Much Caffeine

Again I’m vexed by the question that’s haunted humankind down through the ages: What to blog about today? Alas, the question was made no easier by poking around the web, checking out scores of imaginative blogs for inspiration. I mean, they’re all over the blinkin' place, both in terms of style and substance. No big surprise there, of course. Bloggage, I was reminded, is first and foremost in the eye of the purveyor.

So, what's a boy to do? Should I upload the angst of deciding when to trash my old toothbrush in favor of some whorishly tricked-out, high-tech model? Should I spell out in blazing pixels my life-affirming passion for calzones, coffee, and loud mega-doses of Lee Morgan? Or should I go with my gut feeling, and just thrash about with aimless abandon, scaring the hell out of any poor soul who stumbles upon these pages? No decision yet, though it’ll likely be a bit of all three – with, I suspect, heavy emphasis on the “thrashing about aimlessly” option. Stay tuned.
